Tim Bailey’s specialty with Woodmoor Group is the oil and gas
industry, both domestic and international. He has a combined talent
for listening and asking critical questions, the drive at the heart
of a search assignment, which result in an excellent fit for both
client and candidate.
A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Tim began his
professional career as a Public Affairs officer, the youngest member
of his commanding general’s staff. Due to involvement in worldwide
contingency, crisis and combat operations, Tim’s first unit was
constantly in the media’s eyes. He conducted television, radio and
newspaper interviews and trained others to do the same. On a
subsequent deployment to Southwest Asia much of the footage gathered
by the Combat Media Team he commanded ended up on international
television news broadcasts with CNN, NBC, CBS, and the BBC to name a
few. He later became an Executive Officer managing professional and
legal administration for more than four hundred people, including a
hundred or so at fifteen different broadcast detachments overseas.
Other assignments included Managing Editor of the Air Force’s
magazine, Airman, and interviewing high ranking government officials
one-on-one, including the Chief of Staff of the Air Force.
In the business world, Tim took on a number of challenges
including Project Manager with a multi-billion dollar technology
(robotics) company. He created many new operational tools for
tracking client demand and production forecast models, etc., and
then co-managed the teams using these new tools.
Tim Bailey brings sales experience, entrepreneurialism, systems
consulting and much more to his new role in executive search at
Woodmoor Group. His multiple talents with people and details meld
well with his ‘get it done’ attitude. Our clients in the O&G
industry would be hard-pressed to find a better or more
professional recruiter in the United States.
